I don't know what made me think of using book pages. I just didn't like the design on the dress in the photo reference. Maybe I should've added spilled blood to the front of the dress or something, to tie it in more with the vampire theme. I guess I could still do it later.

I didn't actually cut pages out of my book. That'd be insane.

I used a library book.

I actually kind of like how the vampire theme isn't entirely obvious until you read the words on her dress. It makes it much more subtle and interesting that way, and I spent a lot more time staring at it <3

oohhhhh~ so you cut out the shapes of the book to fit them on the dress. ok, i think i get it. i originally thought you went crazy and drew every letter on the dress, and it made me wonder if there was something wrong with your brain. but no, i was wrong! thank goodness.

aren't vampires suppose to be more unnatural looking? unless . . . she just drank someone's blood! oh ho, i solved another mystery. ^ ^;

this image makes me wonder if ya might be interested in film noir stuff.

mommy is too awesome for anyone. this is beautiful mommy! i love the green lighting to her right!! so awesome. the roses are beautiful, and the folds in the dress are ungodly.

Thank you, love! She has incredibly pouty lips. I'd think she was pulling a face if they didn't look the same in the whole shoot.
