Hello~! Remember me? No? Can't say I blame you. According to dA this is my first journal entry since September. Boy do I suck at maintaining things.

I just never have any news to share, to be honest. Not much has happened in the past year, but here are some updates:
=DiiaR is my girlfriend.
Mum was diagnosed with cancer, but it's benign, so we're not worried in the least. She's had some tumours removed under local anaesthetic, and that surgery is the only treatment it requires, so we're very lucky.
I joined some groups on twitter! Or, they joined me. Either way, it's resulted in some kind of freaky hive mind thing. Crimefish on twitter. I follow back all artists who tweet in English and don't keep asking me to like them on facebook.

I'm still working on the drawing I posted a while ago. I've been working really slowly, but I've changed my process to avoid art block, which is working pretty well for me. Rather than getting up in the morning and questioning whether I'm able / in the mood, I just set up my workspace as soon as I'm up and sit in front of it, even if I never touch it all day. It just puts me in Work Mode so that I don't feel stressed about starting, because it can take me about an hour or so to really get into it, and up until then I just feel like I'm going to mess it up somehow.

My life's fairly uneventful, so you guys mind if I just update with miscellaneous gubbins half the time? You don't? CUE AWKWARD PLUG.
There's a band I want you to hear, but since you have the luxury of not being in close physical proximity to me, I have no way of making you do this.

I never do plugs or features in my journal. I really try to keep it to a bare minimum, because I find endless promotion really impersonal and off-putting. So you can tell when I break my own rule that you should probably listen. And also please let me know if you do, so that I can praise you. Even if you didn't like the music, all feedback is welcome.
